Quantik
The Monte Carlo cost-risk tool Cenex uses for quantitative risk analysis. Where a client or authority requires @RISK, we deliver in @RISK. Quantik is an Excel add-in built by Synthetik, our sister company, from the way Cenex prepares QRAs for Australian funding authorities.
The method, in the workbook
Our QRAs follow the method on our risk modelling page: risk drivers, correlation between groups, schedule-linked costs, LPHC screening, stated precision and estimate maturity checks. Quantik puts that method inside Excel, next to the estimate, so the model can be handed to a client or reviewer and re-run.
What our clients see in a Quantik model
Estimate and register together
Base estimate, risk drivers, the risk register and the programme in one workbook, with inherent and contingent risk simulated in a single run.
Reviewer-ready tests
The GN3A correlation test at ρ = 0 and ρ = 1, P90 reported with its own ± at 95%, and a run log with method, seed and settings.
Authority formats
Summary sheets laid out for the Commonwealth, Queensland TMR, NSW and Victoria, including a P5–P95 table at 5% steps.
Maturity checks
The estimate's AACE class and data quality, checked against accuracy ranges and a reference-class outside view. See estimate maturity.
Which do you need?
Cenex is the consultancy. If you need a QRA prepared, reviewed or defended, that is our risk modelling service, and you receive the Quantik workbook as part of it.
Synthetik is the software brand. If your own team wants to build and run QRA models, licences, downloads, the user guide and support are on the Synthetik site.
Product overview, how it works, user guide, worked examples, trial and pricing.
Also from Synthetik: Trinity, for construction estimating with carbon tracking.
Prefer us to run it for you?
Cenex prepares QRAs for business cases, funding submissions and pre-tender reviews.
